Ioprox is a proprietary Proximity format developed by Kantech and used primarily on the EntraPass Software platform. Kantech is a Canada Access Control manufacturer with a world renown with numerous product options to accommodate growth from a 2 door access control requirement to the multi campus application. The ioProx series of credentials (Cards & Fob) also embed the standard 26Bit Weigand protocol which can be used on a conventional 26bit weigand reader. This dual functionality makes the ioProx credential a very versatile device and removes the compatibility issues when you have multiple reader technologies on your site.
